Awesome-O 2000!

Some realy cool things have happened to me as of late.

1) My chocobo grew to adult, I focused on Discernment. And got it to upgrade 2X. It is not "A Bit Deficiant" (sp?) It is a basic yellow, but i still like it.

I have had it Digging for treasure lately, trying to get it to level the discernment even higher. So far its netted 400g per day. Its not much but im still happy.

Being an adult, I was able to quest my chocowhistle. I have it, but havent been able to test out how good it is at chocobo digging yet. A friend of mine (Dahaps) has though. He is an A10 digger, but his chocos discernment is still poor.

He reports that he was able to dig like the old days. and was getting a ton of drops, but the fatigue timer is not changed. He still fatigues at 100 items. I was kind of hoping the fatigue limit would be increased... but it does sound like its a definate improvement. It leaves him after 16 minutes.

They made mention, in the past update, that the chocobos would be able to dig up special items. But he hasnt gotten anything different yet. I am hoping my choco will have better luck. XD

2) HNM. XD i have been having fun on the HNM scene as well. I had a rematch with both Nidhogg and Cerberus (bbq's nemesis).

I flew through 7 tacos on Nidhogg, due to his special dispel... But yeah, it was worth it. We got Lillath her M.Body abjuration. And i am starting to get a decent reputation in the linkshell.

The next Fafnir, BBQ decided to give me Agisglamner (sp?)!!!! I looooove this head peice. Its awesome. Defence, HP, and +7 emnity O.o This thing will realy help me. Especialy on Cerberus.

XD and now for Cerberus! I got another shot at tanking Cerberus last week. I realy realy love this fight. And with my new helmet, i was packing +30 Emnity in my /nin build. I still have no haste gear, so i decided to pack on the Enmity to try and compensate for that while i save for some haste stuff.

I must say, +30 Enmity is realy awesome. Even though i had no haste gear i was able to command most of the tanking time over a Ninja. I am quite impressed with the hate gathering capabilities of PLD/NIN.

Elpriximo and i tanked Cerberus all the way down to 15% and survived 2 GoH's before Cerberus Cheep Shotted me. lol. It slammed me with 2 tripple attacks, paralyse, and threw fire at me all back to back to back. There was no saving me from that when i was down to 1000 HP when he did it.

Vagus came in to releive me, and they took it down. XD we killed our Very First Cerberus! And i was very happy. We got all the drops too! Dahaps recieved the G.Sword.

3) Savage Blade, I have removed the latent from my trial weapon. But im still waiting on/trying to gather people for the fight.

4) soloed alot of exp lol. I need to find better mobs to solo on my PLD. It doesnt matter how long i have my flag up, i simply dont get invites. Thats fine, but its taking forever to merit on lesser colibri's.

ill tell you what though. It makes me better as a tank, you know... the whole i cant die very much thing is a huge motivator lmao!

Lesser colibri's arent dishing out as much exp as i would like, with sanction i can gain about 40-50 per kill. Its simply not enough. Not enough to make any progress, just enough to hold steady and not lose progress.

But as PLD/NIN i can kill virtualy non-stop w/o sanction refresh. I realy am trying to conserve my Sanction points for a Turban. But at 4 ToAU points per kill... 20 gold peices is quite a way away lol.

5) Parade Gorget! THEY FINALY RELEASED THE RECIPY!!! Now this is just awesome for me lol. For those who dont know the stats on this thing:

The recipy for the pop item is on every major PLD forum already, go check it out lol. I have camped it last night... i got claim 1X and accidentaly drank 1, i only have 1 drink left. and the drop rate is something like 40%ish.

This would help me alot, who knows i may be able to reliably kill DC's for exp. Anyone know of a DC around the new areas, which does not have slow or double attack? It would help me alot lol.

Its not a huuuuuge item. But in something like a /nin tank setup or /nin solo settup i will be using it often.

Camping this thing was fun, especialy if you have 3 people there. Its nice having so many freinds around, i was able to get/share the ToD. Its a huge benifit to be in the loop like that.

6) i realy havent farmed a whole lot though. I realy need to get on that. I am about 200k from my dusk gloves. Itll be my first haste item, and one that would fit perfectly into my /nin scheme. Both for tanking and for DDing.

The only other 2 hand peices i have are Koenig and Tarasque. You know what? i think ill check the price on the tarasque. maybey ill be able to sell that and buy its all around better replacement.

I ended up grabing 1 million from the linkshell coffer, id rather save my points. But thats ok. Need the gear lol.

7) I had another Limbus run on Sunday. XD we did 2 temenos runs. We sent 11 on one run, and lik 12 on another. We got the win on both, and recieved a whoping 5 coins each!

Not only that but i am now something like 4/12 points away from a homam peice. Its rough on me, you only get 1 point per limbus run. And i can only attend the sunday runs.

So its going to be very slow to get a full set. But luckily i have a peice that has a clear priority. Homam Legs. As mentioned before, i can buy haste in my hands. and my legs are one of the realy weak points in my setup. I mean its either Adaman or Crimson or AF. I realy em trying to get away from the AF though. And a leg peice thats great gor /nin tanking and DDing in one, would rule!

8) Donnie and Riotouscrow are both on their way back to ffxi. That is also a very cool development. For many reasons that i dont realy want to state here.

There is something huge im forgetting... damn.. i hate when this happens...braaaaain farrt!!
